About Us

About Taylor

Taylor’s love for horses was inherited from her mother, naturally horses have always been a part of her life. Taylor pursued this passion and worked mucking stables as a teenager, before becoming a dreaded working student. As a working student she received a valuable education in horse management and care of competition horses. She spent a lot of time on the backs of off track thoroughbreds before landing a job as a professional rider in Germany. The quality of horses and riding really pushed her to finesse her training skills, she rode everything from starting stallions, to competing seasoned horses, to competing horses she started herself. Later she decided to bring her skills home to Alberta, where she found her horses Lupin and later Midas.

Taylor is a an Equine Canada Certified NCCP Competition Coach. She also went through the Equine Green Certificate Program and has mentored her own students to success in the G.C. Program. Taylor has always believed in the importance of sharing knowledge and consistently seeking to improve ones self

Facility

Anne Taylor Equestrian is proudly located at the historic Calgary Shrine Stables. Located next to the bow river, within the city limits of Calgary, the facility includes:

• Heated Barn and Arena

• Outdoor Arena

• Heated viewing area

• Conference Room

• Access to trails

• Paddock and Pasture Board available
